ARTivism raises $5,000 for Women’s Support Center

Thank you to all those who attended (and joined online) the annual All-ASA ARTivism auction at the Center for Armenian Arts in Glendale, CA. Held in honor of Women’s History Month, ARTivism raises awareness about women’s issues in Armenia, mobilizes students to support women in Armenia through fundraising and advocacy, and uplifts the work of Armenian artists. Together, we raised $5,000 for the Women’s Support Center in Armenia, which provides shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children and is currently housing Artsakh refugees.

UCLA wins annual All-ASA Quiz Bowl

The 2024 annual All-ASA Quiz Bowl this Armenian History Month was a huge success! UCLA ASA’s team won this competition of Armenian trivia, dethroning last year’s champions, Los Angeles Valley College ASA. This means that next year, UCLA will host the Quiz Bowl!

Thank you to UCLA ASA, USC ASA, LAVC ASA, and Glendale Community College for sending teams to participate in this year’s Armenian trivia competition…we hope to see more students back next year for a chance to take (or defend!) the title of Quiz Bowl Champions.
