ARTSAKH AWARENESS MONTH
November marks Artsakh Awareness Month, an annual All-ASA tradition which brings together Armenian Student Associations across the country to advocate for Artsakh and its people.
Over the course of the month, All-ASA and ASAs across the country will continue spearheading efforts to raise awareness about Artsakh in the United States through various efforts on college campuses. Look out for ASA events, fundraisers and campaigns in your area to join us!
LECTURE SERIES: ASAs across the country — from Los Angeles to Northern California to New York — are planning a series of lectures and panels featuring experts on topics and issues related to Artsakh. Look out for the event in your area by following your local ASA on social media!
HELP US FUNDRAISE FOR TFA

This Artsakh Awareness Month, All-ASA and constituent ASAs are fundraising for Teach for Armenia’s Artsakh Emergency Response to help forcibly displaced students integrate into their new homes and schools in Armenia. Venmo your donation to @armenianstudents now!
BUY DONUTS TO SUPPORT OUR EFFORTS:
This month, if you purchase donut dozens for $15 using our fundraiser link, Krispy Kreme will donate 50% of proceeds to Teach for Armenia!
Once you place your order, Groupraise will email you a code that you can then go redeem in-store to pick up your dozen(s). Note: you can order Krispy Kreme with our link this month and redeem your donuts at any time (codes never expire).
To participate in participating ASAs’ competition to sell dozens, you can also scroll down to the Team Leaderboard and click the “support” link next to your team of choice. So, start a local bakesale, challenge your friends, and of course, treat yourself to a dozen for Armenia!
CHESS TOURNAMENT FOR ARTSAKH
On Sunday, December 3rd from 10:30 AM in Los Angeles (location TBA), come play in a “Chess Tournament for Artsakh” co-hosted by All-ASA and USC, UCLA and CSUN Chess Clubs. The tournament is open to players of all ages and experience levels — from amateurs to ranked players, all are welcome!
The tournament will be in a “10+1” format. There will be 6 rounds, and cash prizes will be available for the top 10 players. All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the TFA fundraiser as part of All-ASA Artsakh Awareness Month.
The registration fee for players is $20. Spots are limited to ensure a quality tournament experience, so make your move quickly and register through the following link. Spread the word to your friends, and join us for an exciting day!
GET YOUR TIGRANBLOG MERCH TODAY!
